New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Airport has partnered with Google to adopt Google Assistant’s Interpreter Mode technology at its Terminal 4 with the aim to reduce language barriers for international tourists.
It will be fascinating to see whether consumers embrace booking various elements of travel using Google Assistant. Perhaps more interesting is the way that Google Maps has become an all-purpose superapp in recent years. Google Maps is an integral part of travel for many of its users, and a variety of new features are likely to make Google’s other services just as important.
